Police are appealing for eyewitnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage after as assault in Grantham.
The incident took place on Barrowby Road on Monday, 6 January sometime between 10pm and 10.30pm.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said:
‘A man attacked a woman, allegedly hitting her with his bicycle before pushing her over and continuing to attack her.
‘He then left the scene.
‘A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is now in police custody.
‘Investigators are now appealing for information and are asking anyone who thinks they can help to get in touch.’
