Lincolnshire Police is appealing for information following a report of a fox being chased by hounds and riders on horseback.
It is reported to have happened around 12.30 pm on Wednesday, 4 December, in the Cowdale Lane area in Torksey.
Police said:
‘We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed anything they believe would assist our inquiries, or who may have recorded footage that could help.
‘We take this opportunity to remind people that fox hunting was made illegal when the Hunting Act 2004 was introduced. Section 3(1) of the Hunting Act 2004 also includes the offence of knowingly permitting land to be used for hunting a wild mammal with dogs.
